We have several dedicated shops provided for our students to create professional, realistic models and prototypes.

Our facilities include:

  1. A comprehensive wood, plastic, and metals shop for all design students (Desn 131)

  2. A dedicated shop for our Upper Division students (Desn 115)

  3. A dedicated shop for Lower Division students making architectural models (Desn 133)

  4. Dedicate, ventilated sanding, painting and finishing booths

  5. Two Fused Deposition Rapid Prototyping machines (RP)

  6. A Computer Numerically Controlled milling machine (CNC) for generating precise models.
