2013 Innovation Challenge Information Sessions This Month

Faculty are encouraged to inform students about the upcoming 2013 Innovation Challenge, a business plan competition that helps students turn their ideas into business ventures.

Sponsored by the Colleges of Engineering and Business Administration, the objectives of the Innovation Challenge are to:

  • Identify and develop ideas that have potential for commercialization, and
  • Stimulate students to pursue ideas, create a business plan, and put plans in motion.

The winning business plan will receive seed funding for business development and business-related services to assist in turning ideas into reality.

Important Dates:

  • Information sessions for students will be held in ECS-312 from 2 - 3 pm on Tuesday, September 25 and Wednesday, September 26.
  • Students must submit a letter of Intent to innovate@csulb.edu by Friday,
    December 7. Teams receive a mentor after they submit a Letter of Intent.
