Saba Yohannes-Reda is the Director for the K-12 Outreach & Recruitment Center for the CSULB Engineering Students Success Center (ESSC). Her primary duties are managing, planning and enhancing the Center's effectiveness by supporting the College's mission of increasing the number of educationally disadvantaged students who graduate from high school with the highest level of preparation in mathematics and science. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing unique programs to motivate students to pursue higher education with an emphasis in math and science based professions. For the past twelve years she has directed the Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) Schools Program by providing service to over twelve thousand students, thirty schools and five districts.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in Counseling – Student Development in Higher Education and an Ed.D in Educational Administration and Leadership.
