Embedded Applications Technology (EAT) is having its first meeting on Thursday, September 6th at 4:00pm. Students and Faculty are all welcome to attend. A few faculty members have been wonderful enough to make some time and introduce themselves and tell us about what they do. Freshmen are strongly encouraged to show up and see what our club is all about. We will be offering free Pizza and Drinks to those who attend. Please RSVP your seat to info@eatsociety.org to ensure we buy enough pizza and drinks for everyone.
EAT is a very active club here in the CECS department. Our organization is aimed at researching, studying, designing, and building embedded processor based systems. We hope to develop the skills in our members needed for future careers in these fields. Our organization is introducing its members to state-of-the-art-technologies that are not being currently taught in the department. With our weekly speaker series we invite industry speakers to come give technical presentations and demonstrations of current embedded technologies. So if any of this stuff peaks your interests please come and join us on Thursday, September 6th at 4:00pm. For more info, please visit the EAT website.
