About the Center

James L. Jensen Student Access to Science and Mathematics Center

Supported by the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM), all students within the College are automatically members of the Jensen SAS Center and may take advantage of all its programs, resources, and services provided, which are designed to encourage and support CNSM students as they prepare for science- and mathematics-based careers.

Students who are enrolled in any Natural Science or Mathematics course may use the tutoring services and attend scheduled workshops. All California State University Long Beach students interested in a career in health professions are encouraged to visit the Health Professions Advising Office.

Additionally, we are dedicated to educating current and prospective students, family members, counselors, and administrators about the assortment of student support services and career development resources offered at California State University Long Beach, which are designed to encourage overall student participation and success at the university.
