The Susan Rice Non-Violence Conflict Resolution Award

 

The Susan Rice Non-Violence Conflict Resolution Award will be presented to one Social Work student per year in the amount of $500. 

The student must be nominated by a current or past faculty in the CSULB School of Social Work. 

The student must have demonstrated life experience or academic expertise in the area of peace, social justice, and / or conflict resolution; must have successfully completed all foundation year course and field work; and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 at time of nomination. 

The letter of nomination must be submitted to Dr. Alex Washington, Chair of the Scholarship Committee, at alex.washington@csulb.edu. 

The deadline for nominations is Friday, November 29, 2013.
