Daytime Accelerated MBA
The Daytime Accelerated MBA (AMBA) offers students the opportunity to earn an MBA degree in one year. The program consists of five quarter-like sessions, where students attend classes full-time, Monday through Thursday, and generally complete two to four classes per session. Students go through the intensive-study program in lockstep format and earn an MBA from an AACSB International accredited college. Career services and an international experience are offered to the students as a part of the program. Currently, students are admitted for the fall start date only.

Program Administration
Students services and program administration for the AMBA (class registration, payments, book distribution, etc), are carried out by the College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE). Student advising and all other academic functions are managed by the MBA Office in the College of Business Administration. While students are registered for classes through CCPE, the degree is awarded by the College of Business Administration.
Program Funding
The Daytime Accelerated MBA is a financially self-supported, unsubsidized program that is not funded or supported by state tax revenue. If you are planning to use a Veterans Fee Waiver, or any other type of fee waiver, please contact the program coordinator or CCPE prior to class registration.
Daytime Accelerated MBA Program Costs
The cost for the Daytime Accelerated MBA is $850 per unit, or $2,550 for a three-unit class. The total cost for the 48 unit Program is $40,800. All fees and costs are subject to change without notice.
Financial Aid Changes to the 2013 AMBA Admission Cycle
Effective with the admission cycle for 2013, the AMBA program has been designated a summer early entrant program in order to allow students to maximize the amount of financial aid available for the duration of the program. This approach allows AMBA students to be considered for Federal student loans for their initial summer, fall, spring and final summer quarters.
FAFSA Application Process
The AMBA program spans two aid years, thus requiring FAFSA’s and additional documentation to be submitted for each year by the appropriate deadline. Students must also complete a “Summer Loan Request” form to initiate loan awarding during the two summer terms. Please see here for more information Summer 2013_AMBA_PROGRAM_FA_Information_Sheet.pdf as well as this Summer_2013_AMBA_Stafford_FINAL2.pdf
