You helped your student get here, and you have an important role to play during his/her college years. The truth is that the first year of college can be difficult. Students can feel overwhelmed by new responsibilities and expectations; some also struggle with feelings of not belonging. Your student is probably completing (or has just completed) his/her midterm examinations, so now is a good time to gauge academic progress and to see how well connected your student is to university resources.
Together, we can ensure that your CSULB student is prepared for success. Please join us for a special parents meeting that will cover key resources available during the first year of university life.Saturday, November 10, 2012
