The Los Alamitos Hall opens for 400 students who yearned for a more collegiate experience.

LBSC Celebrates its 10th Anniversary at Homecoming

Long Beach State College celebrates its 10th Anniversary at Homecoming by parade down on Ocean Blvd.

Lunch Hour becomes lecture hour at LBSC.

Evenings on Campus bring Noted Speakers to Long Beach. Speakers included Dr. Paul Saltman, Dr. Elizabeth Nielsen, Senator Hubert Humphrey, Daniel Schorr, John Mason Brown, and Norman Cousins.
