The CSULB Alumni Association cordially invites The Golden Graduates Society and Association of Emeriti to Mozart, "Marriage of Figaro."
The acclaimed Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, Opera Institute performs Mozart's great comic opera. Regarded by some as the greatest of all comic operas, "Figaro" is the highpoint in Mozart's collaboration with the Italian librettist Lorenzo da Ponte. The music is sublime; the comedy and Mozart's insightful muscial portrayal of love and life remain unsurpassed.
The CSULB Choral, Vocal and Opera Studies is the largest undergraduate voice department in the state of California, supporting seven ensembles, including the CSULB Opera Institute. This program gives pre-professional opera singers the opportunity to perform fully staged, orchestrally accompanied opera. Come and witness the talent of this nationally recognized program.
With the Alumni Association, enjoy a lovely reception on our beautiful campus to connect with friends followed by the performance.
