The Chancellor's office has reinstated system-level funding for RSCA for the 2015-2016 AY. Academic Affairs is pleased to announce plans for the 2015-16 faculty Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities (RSCA) Awards to support faculty research, scholarly and creative activities.

2. Mini-grants and Summer Stipends for 2015-2016 (MGSS)
Funding and regulations for MGSS are mandated by the Legislature and the Chancellor's office, while funding and regulations for reassigned time and discretionary initiatives are determined on the campus. Please contact your College Office regarding application information.
Academic Senate policy 11-08 Section 3.2 dictates the competitive process by which reassigned time will be awarded. Individual College Councils are responsible for determining the criteria for applying, evaluating and recommending RSCA reassigned time. Although there are no required guidelines or application forms, Colleges may wish to use the forms previously required for assigned time applications. Assigned Time Guidelines and Application Forms

Application Deadline: 5.00 p.m. February 2, 2015 to ORSP (ORSP-Research@csulb.edu).
2. Summer Student Research Assistantship
Applications and supporting materials must be received by Friday March 13th, 2015.
