How to Retrieve a Forgotten Password

Please select the system you need your password for:

E-mail

BeachMail

If you do not know your password, go to Reset My Password.

@CSULB Exchange e-mail

Faculty & Staff: If you have forgotten your e-mail or CSULB FTP / Personal Website password, you can call us at (562) 985-4959 and we can reset your password over the phone or you can visit our Technology Help Desk location in AS-120 to have it reset.

When you come to AS-120, please remember to bring your CSULB Campus ID card.


MyCSULB / BeachBoard

If you have forgotten your password for BeachBoard / MyCSULB, you can Reset the Account Password. If you encounter problems while resetting your password, please contact us at (562) 985-4959 and one of our Support Representatives will assist you.

Office Computer / Campus Domain

If you have forgotten the password for your office computer or the Campus Domain you will need to contact your department/college technology representative. If you are unsure who this is you can contact your department or give us a call at (562) 985-4959 and one of our Support Representatives will assist you.

The password must be changed once a year in order to reduce the risk of hackers gaining access to university resources and to ensure CSULB complies with CSU security requirements. Instructions to guide you through the process of changing your password are available. If you have questions, or need assistance, contact your local technology support organization or call the Technology Help Desk at (562) 985-4959.

CSULB FTP / Personal Website

If you have forgotten your CSULB FTP / Personal Website password, you can call us at (562) 985-4959 and we can reset your password over the phone or you can visit our Technology Help Desk location in AS-120 to have it reset.

When you come to AS-120, please remember to bring your CSULB Campus ID card.
